Krka National Park, well known for its numerous lakes and waterfalls, is situated in the central Dalmatia. It got its name after the Krka River, which is a part of the national park. The most impressive and the most visited waterfalls are Roški waterfall and Skradinski Buk, the latter being one of the most famous natural beauties in Croatia. The park is also known for about 221 birdspecies, and a great place to see dragonflies during the summer months.
